A proud veteran, he was a lifelong member of The Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 35, Manahawkin, NJ, was a Life Member of Submarine Veterans, WWII, Gudgeon Chapter, and a lifelong member of US Submarine Veterans, Inc. A man of faith, Robert served on the Board of Governors for the Spray Beach Chapel, and a past deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Tuckerton, NJ.

He continued with that unit to Port Morsbey and Hollandia, New Guinea aboard the Seventh Fleet Command Ship, U.S.S.

They joined the Pine Shores Art Association in Manahawkin. She was a member of the Kynett United Methodist Church of Beach Haven and a huge Phillies fan! What he was most proud of was his service during World War II in the U.S. Army, he served in the Solomon Islands and the Philippines, after 18 months of active duty he was shot in the head and spent a year in the Hospital recovering. He is also survived by his six children and six grandchildren, Kathleen Sullivan (Dan Fronkowiak) of San Jose, California, Daniel Sullivan (Lynn) and their two children Kristen and Ryan of Ringoes, NJ, Father Brian Sullivan of New Vernon, NJ, Paul Sullivan and his son Matthew of Hillsborough, NJ, and Kevin Sullivan (Jamie) and their two daughters, Brooke and Hadley of Queen Anne, Maryland and Mark Sullivan (Julie) and daughter Evelyn of Independence, West Virginia, all of whom he loved unconditionally every day and were always a source of great pride of how they lived with love and honor. Franciszek “Frank” Lojek, age 68, of Brant Beach died on Saturday April 25th, 2020 at his home. She is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Grace Prestileo. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Anne (nee Bailey); children, James Frentzen Jr. (Dorothy), John Frentzen (Margaret), Theresa Miller (Richard) and Anne Marie Frentzen; his sister, Catherine Myers "103" years old; his grandchildren, Christine Phillips (Eric), Ricky Miller (Sarah), Stephen Frentzen, John Frentzen Jr., Richard, Amy (Russ) and Brandon; and his 5 great-grandchildren, Katie, Fred, Autumn, Gloria and Russell Jr. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Connors (Erin), Eric Hance and Alex Hance; and six great-grandchildren, Sean, Ian, and Noah Fowler and Riley, Rhett, and Reagan Connors. She is survived by her two daughters, Tracy Marshall-Rojo and her husband, Fernando of Atlanta, GA and Kelly Marshall-Johnston and her husband James of Wallingford, PA, granddaughters Madison Rojo and Jamie Johnston along with her sister, Elaine Good and her husband Ronald of Tallahassee, FL. Born and raised in Bayonne, he relocated to Long Beach Island where he was the proud owner and operator of the Ship Bottom Motor Lodge for 20 years. When Slade Dale sold his Yacht Basin, Walt started his own business in 1959 – Hance & Smythe with a former co-worker, Harry Smythe. Brant Beach, NJ.
