Sleepless Society: Insomnia 2019 TV-MA 1 Season TV Dramas Haunted by recurring visions, a young woman with insomnia visits an old home to solve a mystery and put her nightmares to an end.

The story revolves around an extended Thai Chinese family whose members' seemingly happy relationships devolve into conflict following murder of the eldest son and head of the family business. We don't see too many "great" films anymore, and whenever they're out there it's good to take advantage.My score: 9 (out of 10).

I greatly look forward to seeing his next project, whenever that may be.I recommend "Insomnia" to anyone who loved Nolan's previous "Memento" or anyone who simply enjoys a great, multi-faceted mystery/thriller that will keep you guessing at every turn. He could've went over-the-top, playing a totally ruthless killer who cackles at the thought of murdering someone in cold blood. And what if the Policemen use the criminals to arrest others.

Unfortunately, the supposedly uncomplicated heist suddenly becomes a bizarre nightmare as everything that could go wrong does. Pacino, Swank and Robin Williams were great in it. As for Robin Williams, he is fully convincing as the reclusive novelist/murderer of a 17-year-old girl. I think it's too early to vote this movie as one of the best films of 2002, but it's a possible candidate. Pacino, in a terrific performance, comes across as more sympathetic than Skarsgard, whose character is somewhat creepy. In addition, in the American version, more time is given to the relationship between the detective and the killer, giving rise to an exciting chase over a river loaded with logs and a grandstand finale, all added for the paying public, no doubt, but no less welcome.

It is the better film. Fantastic Cast but needed more character development, Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2020. The Norwegian film was rightly greeted as a good thriller but it is superseded by the American.
